We've listed the most frequently asked questions at Éco Bac Solution. If you have any other questions, please contact us and we'll be happy to answer them.

  • What size container should I choose?

Consider the type and quantity of waste, as well as the weight. For example, concrete, which is heavier, requires a 10-yard container. (See list)

  • What are the dimensions of the containers at Éco Bac Solution?

We offer 10, 16, 20, and 25 cubic yard containers for dry materials. Our economical containers are ideal for tight spaces like alleys and small yards.

  • What materials are accepted or rejected?

We accept: wood, metals, plastic, glass, gypsum, shingles, aggregates, construction debris, appliances, disaster waste, asbestos.

We refuse: tires, propane, chemicals, toxic, flammable, radioactive, corrosive, oil, paint, hazardous household products, contaminated soil.

Contact your municipality, ecocentre or Recyc-Québec to dispose of non-accepted materials.

  • Is a container suitable for a parking entrance?

Check our dimensions to determine the space required. Mini-container shipping requires less space, making it ideal for urban areas.

  • Is someone required on site during delivery?

No, but be specific in the delivery instructions. If no one is available, you will be responsible for relocation costs if necessary. Ensure unobstructed access to the container upon pickup.

  • Can I place the container on the street?

Please apply to your municipality, as a permit is required. Our team will ask you for proof.

  • What happens to the recovered materials?

They are transported to sorting centers recognized by the Ministry of the Environment. Éco Bac Solution does everything possible to recycle as many materials as possible.

  • How long can the container be kept?

The rental period includes a 10-day period, or as agreed. An additional $15 per day fee applies. You must contact us once the rental period is complete.

  • When will the container be picked up?

We can pick it up the day you call or the next day.

  • How long should I rent my container for?

Plan your project as accurately as possible. While we offer flexible scheduling, it's best to have a well-planned timeline to avoid last-minute costs.

  • What are the payment options?

We accept payments by interactive transfer, credit card or cash.

  • When will I be billed?

You must pay your rental upon receipt of the container.

  • What are RDDs?

Household hazardous waste (HHW) should not be placed in the containers. We offer a collection service when you pick up your container for a fee of $45 per container. No explosive, aerosol, or highly flammable products should be placed in our containers, in accordance with government transportation regulations.

  • What are the terms and conditions?

Hazardous or toxic products, flammable or explosive materials, and aerosol cans are also prohibited. No liquids, such as oil or gasoline, nor contaminated soil or sand should be disposed of. The customer is responsible for ensuring the accessibility of the container or mobile warehouse. It is imperative that our truck can access the site upon delivery or collection. The customer must take appropriate measures, such as snow removal, de-icing, and sanding. If access to the container or mobile warehouse is not possible, unnecessary travel costs will be charged.

For the duration of the rental, the customer is responsible for the container and its contents. If waste that does not belong to the customer is placed in the container, it is the customer's responsibility to remove it. Anything in the container at the time of collection is the customer's responsibility.

It is strictly forbidden to move the container or mobile storage to avoid damage or collection issues. If collection is not possible, a relocation fee will be charged. In addition, the customer is responsible for any damage caused to the container or mobile storage during the rental period, and repair costs will be charged accordingly.

A $500 credit card deposit is required prior to delivery for storage unit rentals. The deposit will be refunded within a few business days following the end of the rental.

NB. A municipal permit is required to install a container or storage unit outside of private property. Éco Bac Solution Inc. is not responsible for any damage or breakage caused to the land or pavement during delivery or pickup of the rental. If the container or storage unit must be installed on a street or alley, it must remain accessible by another entry or exit point. The customer is responsible for informing us when the container or mobile storage unit is ready for pickup. We do not automatically pick up the container after 10 days.

This pricing policy may be modified at any time.
