We have compiled a list of frequently asked questions at Éco Bac Solution. If you have any further questions, please contact us and we will be happy to answer them.
What size container should I choose?
Consider the type and quantity of waste, as well as its weight. For example, concrete, being heavier, requires a 10-yard container. (See list)
What are the dimensions of the containers at Éco Bac Solution?
We offer 10, 16, 20, and 25 cubic yard containers for dry materials. Our economical containers are perfect for tight spaces like alleyways and small yards.
What materials are accepted or refused?
We accept: wood, metals, plastic, glass, gypsum, shingles, aggregates, construction debris, appliances, post-disaster waste, asbestos.
We refuse: tires, propane, chemicals, toxic, flammable, radioactive, corrosive products, oil, paint, hazardous household products, contaminated soil.
Contact your municipality, ecocentre or Recyc-Québec to dispose of unaccepted materials.
Is a container suitable for a parking lot entrance?
Consult our dimensions to determine the space required. Mini-container deliveries require less space, making them ideal for urban areas.
Is someone required to be present during the delivery?
No, but be specific in your delivery instructions. If no one is available, you will be responsible for any relocation costs. Ensure unobstructed access to the container during pickup.
Can I place the container in the street?
Please apply to your municipality, as a permit is required. Our team will ask you for proof of eligibility.
What happens to the recovered materials?
They are transported to sorting centers recognized by the Ministry of the Environment. Éco Bac Solution does everything possible to recycle as much material as possible.
How long can the container be kept?
The rental includes a 10-day period, or as agreed. An additional fee of $15 per day applies. You must contact us once the rental is complete.
When will the container be collected?
We can pick it up on the day of your call or the next day.
How long should I rent my container for?
Plan the duration of your project as accurately as possible. While we offer flexible scheduling, it's best to have a well-planned timeline to avoid last-minute costs.
What are the payment options?
We accept payments by Interac e-Transfer, credit card or cash.
When will I be billed?
You must pay for your rental upon receipt of the container.
What are RDDs?
Household hazardous waste (HHW) must not be placed in the containers. We offer a collection service when your container is picked up, for a fee of $45 per bin. No explosive, aerosol, or highly flammable products should be placed in our bins, in accordance with government transportation regulations.
